Why Celery Juice?
Celery alone is obviously healthy, as most green things are. And while most of the time, the whole food or a smoothie is better than just the juice, with celery this is not the case. The whole fruit offers fiber that juicing usually eliminates. Juice is also generally higher in sugar. This is not the case with celery juice, as celery contains almost no sugar. And with an otherwise fiber rich diet, you don’t need the extra fiber.
Celery juice allows you to get the more nutrients in one serving than eating the stalk itself. Juicing magnifies its benefits by eliminating the energy it takes to digest the fibers and delivering the gut-healing, anti-inflammatory, blood-cleansing nutrients directly to your system. It is a powerful way to benefit our minds, bodies (both inside and out), and spirits.
As celery juice is medicinal, rather than sustenance, it works best when you drink it alone, rather than blended or combined. ( Although ANY juice is better than no juice)

My Experience with celery juice
After spending some time reading about the medical medium and the miracle that is celery juice, I decided to try it for myself. The first day, I noticed I immediately had a bit more energy. Maybe it was a placebo. Within a week, I noticed my skin starting to glow a little more. I attribute this to the anti-inflammatory properties. I had more energy and felt a sense of bliss that I didn’t feel the week before. I can only imagine what it is doing to my insides.

The Get Pretty Nourished Celery Juice Challenge

First thing in the morning, every morning, drink 16 ounces of celery juice on an empty stomach. This is not a meal replacement, so after fifteen minutes, follow your celery juice with your regular healthful breakfast. Use organic celery, whenever possible, as celery is one of the “Dirty Dozen.” If you can’t use organic celery, wash the conventional celery especially well before juicing.
At first, 16 ounces might be too much. If you find that you have any kind of reaction or know that your body is sensitive to changes, start with a smaller amount and work your way up.
If the flavor is too strong or unappetizing at first, mix it with cucumbers or apples. You will likely adjust to the flavor after a few days, and actually begin to crave it (I know, it sounds unbelievable, but try it!). As you get used to it, begin reducing the cucumber or apple, as the celery juice is most effective when you drink it by itself.
After seven days, notice your body. Be mindful of any mental or physical changes. How do you feel? Do you feel more energetic? Lighter? Did you experience the euphoria that others have felt? Are you feeling vibrant?
